// Website Health Check
What we found — and why it matters for your business
// The Bottom Line
We looked at your website the way Google looks at it. Rascal House has great name recognition — but your website isn't pulling its weight. You've got the best pizza in Cleveland, but your storefront sign is turned off and the door is hard to find.
When someone in Cleveland Googles "pizza delivery near me" or "best pizza Cleveland" — your competitors are showing up, and you're not. That's real money walking out the door every single day.
// Search Performance — Q1 2026
We pulled 3 months of real data straight from Google Search Console. These are the numbers behind how people find (or don't find) your website.
// By Device
65% of your search clicks come from phones — typical for a local restaurant. But your desktop rankings are significantly worse.
// The Biggest Problem in One Number
When someone already knows "Rascal House" and searches for you by name, you show up. But when someone searches for "pizza near me" or "best pizza Cleveland" — you're invisible. That's 95% brand dependency.
You're getting 78,472 non-branded impressions but only 276 clicks. That's thousands of potential customers seeing your name in search results and scrolling right past. The site has almost zero non-branded visibility.
// Non-Branded Queries You're Missing
Google is already showing your site for these queries. But your position is too low or the listing isn't compelling enough to earn the click.
| Query | Clicks | Impressions | CTR | Avg Position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pizza near me | 48 | 13,682 | 0.35% | 6.0 |
| pizza delivery near me | 34 | 7,267 | 0.47% | 48.7 |
| food near me | 4 | 3,893 | 0.10% | 11.9 |
| pizza delivery | 3 | 1,933 | 0.16% | 15.0 |
| takeout near me | 0 | 1,424 | 0% | 80.1 |
| food open near me | 0 | 1,244 | 0% | 14.3 |
| pizza | 0 | 711 | 0% | 7.0 |
| pizza dough near me | 0 | 661 | 0% | 8.0 |
| pizza cleveland | 1 | 616 | 0.16% | 10.2 |
| best pizza delivery near me | 0 | 590 | 0% | 6.0 |
| pizza deals near me | 5 | 542 | 0.92% | 8.2 |
| pizza open near me | 2 | 538 | 0.37% | 53.4 |
| delivery pizza near me | 1 | 532 | 0.19% | 12.8 |
| pizza takeout near me | 0 | 512 | 0% | 65.1 |
"Pizza near me" alone generates 13,682 impressions at position 6.0 — yet only 48 clicks (0.35% CTR). With proper location pages and a 5% CTR, that's 684 clicks per quarter from one query. Across all "near me" queries, there are over 30,000 wasted impressions per quarter.
// #1 Problem — Local SEO
This is the most important section of this entire report. As a pizza restaurant with multiple locations across Cleveland, your biggest untapped opportunity is people searching for food right in your delivery zones.
Google can't find dedicated pages for any of your individual locations. There's no page for Downtown Cleveland, no pages for your other stores. Google has nothing to show people.
Your homepage — the most important page on your entire site — doesn't show a single address or phone number. Google has less confidence you're a real local business.
Your site has a single Google Map showing all locations at once. Each store needs its own embedded map on a dedicated page — that's a much stronger geographic relevance signal to Google.
"Best pizza near University Circle," "catering Lakewood OH," "pizza delivery Tremont" — your website has absolutely zero content targeting any of these searches.
Every day, hundreds of people in your delivery zones are searching for exactly what you sell — pizza, wings, subs, catering. Without the right local presence, those customers go to your competitors. Even capturing 10% more of those searches could mean thousands of dollars per month in additional orders.
// What Your Customers See
These are real search terms people use every day in Cleveland. Right now, your competitors are getting this traffic — not you.
// Location-Specific Search Demand
Google's data shows strong search demand for each Rascal House location by name — and these are just the branded queries. Non-branded searches like "pizza downtown cleveland" add thousands more impressions you're not capturing.
| Location | Clicks | Impressions | CTR | Avg Position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Euclid (all queries) | 372 | 4,415 | 8.4% | 2.5 |
| Downtown Cleveland | 258 | 3,143 | 8.2% | 2.5 |
| Maple Heights | 136 | 2,310 | 5.9% | 2.6 |
| University Circle | 115 | 1,371 | 8.4% | 3.3 |
| University Heights | 72 | 809 | 8.9% | 3.3 |
Each location needs its own dedicated page with a full address, phone number, hours, Google Maps embed, driving directions, neighborhood context, and LocalBusiness schema markup. Right now, /locations/ redirects to /order/ — completely wasting this opportunity.
// Page-Level Performance
A breakdown of your top pages by search clicks. Some are doing well, but several have massive untapped potential.
| Page | Clicks | Impressions | CTR | Avg Position |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| / (Homepage) | 3,471 | 139,047 | 2.5% | 14.9 |
| /menu/ | 1,956 | 45,423 | 4.3% | 4.2 |
| /order/ | 298 | 36,181 | 0.8% | 4.6 |
| /order/downtown-cleveland/ | 295 | 25,917 | 1.1% | 3.1 |
| /order/maple-heights/ | 271 | 12,555 | 2.2% | 3.7 |
| /order/euclid-oh/ | 267 | 13,634 | 2.0% | 3.4 |
| /order/university-circle/ | 229 | 23,580 | 1.0% | 2.8 |
| /pricing/euclid-oh/ | 159 | 8,188 | 1.9% | 4.2 |
| /locations-list/ | 142 | 31,433 | 0.5% | 4.1 |
| /careers/ | 96 | 9,137 | 1.1% | 7.4 |
Your homepage ranks for an enormous number of queries at position 14.9 — bottom of page 1. Much of this traffic comes from "near me" queries where the homepage isn't the right landing page. Dedicated location pages would capture this far more effectively.
This page is essentially a redirect to /order/ — it has enormous search demand from people looking for your locations but fails to provide addresses, hours, maps, or any per-location information.
Outdated PDF menu files (some from 2013 and 2016) collectively receive 544 clicks and 32,367 impressions. They're competing with and diluting the authority of your main /menu/ page. Redirect these to HTML pages and block PDFs from indexing.

A quick health check across six key areas. Here's the honest truth about where you stand.
// Problem #2 — Thin Content
Google is a reading machine. It reads the text on your website to figure out what you do. The problem? There's barely anything for it to read.
Your homepage has roughly 302 words. For context, this report page has more content than your entire homepage. Google looks at that and has very little to work with.
Menu page content is mostly item names. No category descriptions, no ingredient highlights, no FAQ content to boost relevance for searches.
Blog articles are from 2023 and earlier. Many posts reference outdated events. An inactive blog tells Google your site might be abandoned.
// Problem #3 — On-Page SEO Errors
We found issues in how your website communicates with Google. These affect how search engines understand, index, and rank your pages.
// Structured Data & Schema
Your site uses Rank Math SEO which provides basic schema (Restaurant, Organization, WebPage). That's a good foundation — but critical markup for local restaurants is missing.
| Schema Type | Status | Impact |
|---|---|---|
| Restaurant + Organization | Present (via Rank Math) | Good foundation |
| LocalBusiness (per location) | Missing | Required for Local Pack & Maps |
| Menu / MenuItem | Missing | Enables rich menu snippets in search |
| BreadcrumbList | Missing | Improves SERP display & UX |
| sameAs (social links) | Broken | Twitter URL malformed in schema |
| Image Alt Text | 72% coverage (3 missing) | Missing alt = missed image search |
// What This Adds Up To
No local search presence means customers go to competitors by default
Almost zero non-branded visibility — anyone who doesn't already know "Rascal House" can't find you
Thin content, broken schema, and missing structured data keep your rankings low
The current site has been patched and added to over the years, and it's reached a point where the foundation itself is the problem. Fixing individual issues won't be enough — the site needs to be rebuilt from the ground up with local search as the #1 priority.
// The Good News

// Projected Impact
Conservative estimates based on your current Google data and industry benchmarks for local restaurant SEO.
Implementing the top 5 action items alone could realistically increase quarterly organic clicks from ~8,000 to 12,000–15,000 within 3–6 months. The long-term opportunity with a full non-branded content strategy could double or triple current traffic levels.
